Lettings Administrator

Closed 12/06/2019

Sussex Student Lettings was established in 2012 and has grown significantly year on year. Promoting ethical practices and great customer service with a unique approach to lettings management. SSL have never charged any administration fees to students and only work with landlords that take care of their properties. This is great opportunity to join a busy and successful team.

Help students gain access to safe and affordable housing and be part of changing the way rogue landlords and lettings agencies dominate the student housing market by setting the standard for competition. This is also a great opportunity to develop your professional office administration and business skills sets.

We are looking for someone to bring their organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively to this role which will support our friendly lettings office in managing the transition between tenancies. You’ll need to process all the move in documents and liaise with different stakeholders to coordinate appointments and visits to the properties.

The working hours for this role are 15 hours per week all year around. Therefore this job will suit somebody who will be living in Brighton during academic holidays or studying a course which runs through the summer.

We welcome applications from everyone, including but not exclusive to; postgraduates, people with an ethnic minority or Chinese background, people with a disability, people with dependants, and people who identify as LGBTQ+. We conduct anonymous shortlisting and all of our selection panels have Unconscious Bias Training in order to support the above. We also consider flexible working for those with care commitments. If you have any suggestions as to how we could improve our language or application process please let us know.
