The Language Café is looking for 8 enthusiastic Language Café Leaders to join the team.
Language Café Leaders are responsible for devising and delivering language learning activities to facilitate language learning at the Language Café. There is lots of scope for your input, ideas and creativity! This role is open to current Sussex, BSMS, or IDS students. Interviews can take place over the phone, Skype or Whatsapp

Job Title: Language Café Leader
Responsible to: Student Participation Assistant
Rate of pay: Your pay will be £8.62 per hour. This is made up of £7.70 basic rate, and 92p holiday pay. The rate of pay will be higher if you are over 25 in order to meet the increase in national minimum wage for staff over 25
Contract: Fixed term, ending 15th June 2020
Hours of work: 6-8 hours per term: 3 hours for each Language Café Session. Successful applicants will commit to leading on two sessions. One 30 minute 1:1 supervision session is also included, over Skype, in person, or over the phone, with an additional session available upon request. You are also able to access 1-2-1 hour long training sessions.
Applicants: You must still be a student of Sussex, BSMS, or IDS at the time of the start date in order to apply, or be able to provide confirmation that you are starting a new course.
