Help students gain access to safe and affordable housing and be part of changing the way rogue landlords and lettings agencies dominate the student housing market by setting the standard for competition. This is also a great opportunity to develop your professional office administration and business skills sets.

We are looking for someone to bring their organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively to this role which will support lettings office in managing the transition between tenancies. You’ll need to process all the move in documents and liaise with different stakeholders to coordinate appointments and visits to the properties.

Our graduate placements provide support and training to help you gain experience and develop your skills.

We are also located on campus and in Lewes Road so are extremely easy to get to.

Sussex Student Lettings (SSL) was established in 2012 and has grown significantly year on year. Promoting ethical practices and great customer service, it has been rated by students as the top letting agency in Brighton. SSL charge no administration fees to students, and also act as an advice centre to students with any housing issues. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and successful team.

Job Title:  Lettings Administrator

Responsible to: Lettings Manager

Salary: £18,421 full-time equivalent, per annum, pro rata

Contract: Fixed term until 31st July 2020, with the possibility of extending

Hours of work: Up to full-time, (36.5 hours per week) but will more than likely be flexible to include some evenings and weekend work during term time.

Applicants: University of Sussex or BSMS graduates (graduated in 2017, 2018 and 2019), and Sussex students requiring a work placement year, or Sussex Students’ Union staff. The Union looks to employ these students, graduates and SU staff in order to provide valuable skills and experience to them, increasing their employability and personal development
